What's new at Noyo: Spring 2025 Roadmap Highlights

In our Roadmap Release webinar, Noyo product leaders shared a first look at what’s ahead and how we’re building BenefitsOS – the industry’s first operating system for benefits.

BenefitsOS is a major expansion of the Noyo platform that modernizes every step of the group lifecycle – from case setup to enrollment to renewal – using embedded AI and advanced integrations with carriers. Now ben-admins, brokers, carriers, and HR teams can take advantage of the exciting new features Noyo is building.

Automating plan setup with AI

The problem: Setting up groups and plans in the ben-admin system is time-consuming and error-prone. Plan details live in scattered PDFs and spreadsheets with no standard format. Often this data gets manually entered, which is why 99% of plans have errors.

The solution: BenefitsOS uses AI to read and structure plan documents (like SBCs and rate tables), converting them into clean, standardized formats. Comprehensive plan data can be accessed via API or exported from the Noyo app in various formats.

The impact: Plans can be configured in minutes, not weeks – with fewer errors and significantly less manual work.

Smart, automated employee data mapping

The problem: Mapping employee data to carrier account structures (divisions, classes, bill groups, etc.) is manual, difficult to standardize, and it slows down implementation. Everyone hates this step.

The solution: Noyo’s AI interprets carrier account structures, automatically understanding and applying rules to derive the correct mapping values. On top of this, we've built a user-friendly interface to configure rules and review outputs for more complex groups that require a human eye.

The impact: Faster, more accurate group setup without the headache of managing this work with SQL and spreadsheets.

Broad carrier coverage and easy activation

The problem: Carriers require different connection types (API, EDI, portals, etc) depending on each group's profile, and these rules change often. Ben-admins have to manage complex eligibility and routing logic to keep up.

The solution: Noyo stores each carrier's eligibility rules and supports multiple ways of transmitting data to a given carrier. Our system can intelligently route data to the carrier using the optimal method. Instead of building complex routing algorithms, ben-admins can send Noyo basic data for their groups – even their entire book – and Noyo will run continuous eligibility checks to recommend the best connection, whether that's API, EDI, or something else. Initiating a connection is as simple as flipping a switch.

The impact: No engineering resources required to connect a carrier, and an easier way to migrate groups to more advanced connections as they become available.

AI-powered error handling

The problem: Triaging EDI errors can be a full time job. Each carrier has different reporting formats and cadences, often providing little context about each error.

The solution: Noyo uses AI to turn messy error reports into clear, easy-to-action lists. Brokers and ben-admins can drop reports into our AI suite and process them on-demand. For ben-admins that manage groups on Noyo, we ingest error reports directly from carriers and translate them to our standard discrepancy format. Noyo proactively surfaces these errors via API or in our app.

The impact: Catch and resolve issues faster. Reduce the amount of work it takes to manage carrier reports.

Sneak Peek: Noyo Benefits Copilot for Workday

We introduced Noyo Benefits Copilot, a new app for Workday users built on top of BenefitsOS. It gives HR teams a fast, self-serve way to connect benefits vendors – no costly consultants or IT work required.

Here's the details:

  • Noyo has a battle-tested integration with Workday's APIs

  • Noyo can enable vendor connections in 3–6 weeks (vs. 3–6 months with other solutions)

  • Noyo handles all vendor maintenance and upgrades

  • HR teams have access to advanced capabilities like enrollment status tracking, automatic error detection, and round-trip confirmation – features not available out-of-the-box with Workday

The impact: Carriers who use Noyo to connect to Workday are able to onboard customers faster and offer a modern, differentiated experience. HR teams who use Benefits Copilot can connect vendors with unprecedented speed, unlock significant savings, and eliminate manual work at every step.
