Introducing Issues: A standardized way to surface and resolve errors (beta)
Turn raw error reports into a centralized hub of actionable items

EDI error handling is one of many manual workflows that require a heavy operational lift. We built Issues to help ben-admins manage and resolve problems faster—with less manual work.
What are issues?
Issues are records of problems with a member's coverage. Each Issue is tied to a member, making it easier to understand what went wrong and how to fix it.
Issues capture and prioritize errors from EDI reports to give platforms visibility into enrollment problems that need attention.
Unlike discrepancies, which focus on field-level data mismatches, Issues provide context for why data problems exist. For example, if someone's zip code is invalid, their entire address might show as a discrepancy between the ben-admin's intended state and the carrier's system. An issue highlights the actionable item—the invalid zip code.
How it works
Users upload an EDI error report that Noyo parses to surface issues in a structured format.
View, track, and filter Issues through the Noyo app.
If needed, update member details in the ben-admin and send Noyo a new Member Snapshot.
If the issue no longer appears in subsequent reports, Noyo will automatically recognize it as resolved.
What’s next
We’re working on expanding Issues to support more document types and error sources such as API error responses.
While this feature is in beta with select customers, we’re excited to shed light on the advanced functionality we’re building for our ben-admin partners.
